Child Safety Day Returns

Child Safety Day Returns

This might seem premature – but if you’re in the St. Louis Area, be sure to mark your calendar for Child Safety Day. INOBTR has been involved with this event for the last four years and it gets bigger and better every year. We’ll be providing updates monthly on the fun and exciting (and usually free) things to see and do at this year’s event.

This great event is sponsored by the 7th District Police Department and takes place in front of The Pageant and surrounding area. Here are just a few things already slated:

  • BJC, Barnes Jewish Hospital Foundation & Urban League sponsor free flu shots
  • FBI Citizens Alumni sponsor child fingerprinting and DNA kits
  • Helmets First – Free and fitted child sized bike helmets
  • Metro Transit – Ride with Fred Bird and Rampage
  • Missouri Highway Patrol – Seat Belt Convinder Ride
  • Page Law – Child Sized Bike Giveaway
  • St. Louis Fire Department – Smoke House Tour and Emergency Planning
  • St. Louis Police Department – Helicopter, Canine Unit, Bomb and Arson Robot, Sam Safety, SWAT Bear, The Raptor, & Command Van

So many other groups are still making plans but you can look for St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Healthy Kids Express sponsored by Home State Health Plans to be featured. INOBTR always provides safety tips and halloween treats. There are free t-shirts and so many more things. Watch here for updates and mark your calendar today! We’ll see you there!
