Family Safety & Security Resources

The whole point of this Internet thing is to make our lives easier, faster and more interestingly global. The nice side light of that is that we can also reach out and help one another. I received a note last week from a student in a writing class in Delaware. As the students do research for their own works, they are also required to find additional resources to share with people they have researched – a give and take if you will. Amy, one of the students reached out to INOBTR to let us know she is using some of our information and passed along this great list of resources gathered by US Alarm.  I checked out each link and there are some great resources, some from organizations we already know and love and some new ones we hadn’t seen before. Thanks to Amy and Ms. Ward’s class:

The links are all secure and unless you give them your contact information this should not link you to the alarm company.  US Alarm offers this disclaimer at the bottom of their guide:   IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ: By providing your contact information to www.usalarm.com on this Web site, you are expressly granting www.usalarm.com permission to contact you by email, SMS text message, or telephone, even though you may have previously chosen to have your telephone number added to any Do-Not-Call List including lists maintained by www.usalarm.com, or any local, state or federal government agency.
